About us
Children4WorldChildren is a young-people focused organisation that has been in existence since 2012, our motivation is to empower the most marginalised, deprived under-represented young people with network of support; engaging young people and family with services tailored towards their needs. The following describe and streamline our functions: C4WC create a platform to integrate and empower Parents from diverse ethnic groups of the world in their respective communities to help their children through peer to peer learning and participation in social and educative activities. All our activities has been built around integration and empowerment. Young people are resourceful citizens with much to offer, but most often impossible for them to thrive due to lack of access to support and system bureaucracy. Our organisation offers a platform of concrete cooperation and sustainable solution, bridging gaps linking a network of service providers and key thinkers together to connect with young people. The C4WC intensive initiatives promote holistic support goal for the young people and their family globally. We strongly believe in the saying that it takes a whole village to raise a child, hence, we are dedicated to link the under-represented young people and their parents with the community of service providers joining efforts towards engaging, equipping, empowering and nurturing individual talents to flourish and become actively integrate in their own community and in global society at large as well as able to support other young people across the world to attain their potentials.

Child Protection
At Children4WorldChildren we take the safety of all the children involved in the group very seriously. We are Children First and Child’s safeguarding Compliant in accordance with Tusla standard. In line with the C4WC code of practice we have quite a numbers of children’s officers in the organisation.
The National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Acts 2012-2016 commenced on 29th April 2016, this placed a statutory obligation on organisations working with young people to ensure that all persons undertaking ‘relevant work’ with children has been vetted prior to that role in Ireland.
The term ‘relevant work’ includes any role of responsibility such as mentors, facilitators, adults under the age of 18 years.
Anyone who is in regular contact with children must be vetted by the National Vetting Bureau and must attend a child safeguarding course.
To apply for vetting please complete the FORM NVB 1 and bring it along with the necessary identification to one of the children’s officers.
